MARAWI
CITY, Lanao del Sur, April 27 (PIA) --- Government agencies in the
province will offer free services to the public on April 29-30, 2015 at
the Provincial Capitol Compound as part of the local government’s
People’s Day initiative.
The two-day open house of public
services aims to provide free government services and raise awareness on
the different services, programs and projects of the government.
It
is spearheaded by the Provincial Government in partnership with the
Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Regional Government and
national line agencies in the province.
Medical and dental
services, circumcision (tuli), legal services, application for NBI
clearance, and registration of cooperatives were just among the free
services lined-up during the People’s Day.
Aside from free
services, releasing of Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) will
also be conducted during the two-day activity.
Other
highlights of the People’s Day include display of agricultural products;
demo on fish gear making; essay writing contest; market linkaging and
business matching; orientation on K+12, Abot Alam and scholarship
programs; and the conduct of a peace summit. (APB/PIA-10)
